Entrance Section

A simple linear stream passage with wall notches from old stream levels (or are these soluble beds?). Mud speleothems occur in several places.

First Rockfall, upper level

At the first rockfall, one can climb up to an upper level of abandoned stream passage.

Between 1st and 2nd Rockfalls
Below the upper level the stream passage continues with lower roof for a while, but then the roof rises again. There are well-developed speleothems on the east wall, but not on the west side. Some speleothems are mud-coated (link).

Main stream passage beyond the 2nd Rockfall

This is straight stream passage in a vadose notch ("The Bowling Alley") alternating with rockfall sections.

The roof is visible from the top of the rockpiles, and generally has a flat top with small incuts on the sides. It is mud coated, but the mud is thinner than below and dry and cracking off. Thicker, laminated mud deposits are seen in wall notches.

Below the Falls

Eventually one reaches a junction. A minor stream enters from a small decorated passage that continues straight ahead. The main passage does a U-turn back to the NW. It continues as a large muddy stream passage to a big pool and then starts to climb as a set of chutes and basins to the base of the 4m high waterfall.

Above the Falls

I have only been a short distance. The passage is lower roofed, and meanders strongly. A few small side passages have yet to be explored. Exploration and surveying are continuing.
